Air France doesn’t have any details about this on its website, so it may not offer such a policy.
Changes are permitted from the same country of origin only and all travel must be completed within one year of the original date of purchase. Some airlines offer a 24-hour cooling-off period, during which you can cancel your booking and receive a full refund. Cancellation or failure to use individual flight segments on a ticket constitutes a change and fees and fare difference may apply depending on the fare purchased. Note that there is no refund/travel credit of the difference in fare should the new fare be of lower value than that of the original fare, or if a fare of lower value becomes available subsequent to purchase. The Department of Transportation’s 24-hour refund regulation states that all airlines flying in the U.S., even international carriers, must issue a full refund if the reservation is canceled. Changes may be subject to a change fee plus fare difference depending on the fare type purchased. Changes can be made up to two hours before the scheduled departure time, after which all money associated with the flight (with the exception of Government tax) is forfeited.
Please be aware that if you also purchased travel extras directly from Aer Lingus these are not automatically transferred to your new booking and must be rebooked. If you travel to/from the U.S, you are allowed to get a full refund by canceling your flight within 24 hours of booking. However if your booking includes partner airline connections, or was made with our Reservations Team, please contact us in order to make the required changes.
